5 Shakeology Popsicle Recipes To Bring in Summer 16

Hot weather is finally here! While this may not be the best news (especially if you aren’t a huge fan on sweating up a storm every time you’re outside), it is a GREAT excuse to beat the heat with frozen treats. Obviously frozen treats can mean many things, but since we know you’re busting your butt to keep your body and health top of mind, we are going to assume the treats are not ones laden with sugars, fats, and chemicals. Did we assume right?

Now, before you resort to only having ice cubes as your guilt-free cool-temp snack, fear not! We have 5 killer Shakeology Popsicle Recipes to help you get your health on while keeping the sweat off. Shakeology Popsicle recipes not only contain dense nutrition, but they taste pretty good too (we may have had to sample all of them. Twice. For science). Which ones have you tried?


1. PEANUT BUTTER FUDGY POPS

 

(MAKES 4 SERVINGS, 1 POP EACH)
Total Time: 3 hrs. 5 min.
Prep Time: 5 min.

Ingredients

  • 1½ scoops Chocolate or Chocolate Vegan Shakeology
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 1 Tbsp. all-natural peanut butter

Directions

  1. Place milk, Shakeology, and peanut butter in blender; cover.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour evenly into four ice pop molds; freeze for 3 hours or until set.

 


2. SUPER BERRY POPS

(Makes 4 servings, 1 pop each)
Total Time: 4 hrs. 10 min.
Prep Time: 10 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1½ scoops Greenberry Shakeology

Directions

  1. Place cranberry juice, raspberries, and Shakeology in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour evenly into four ice pop molds; freeze for at least 4 hours, or until set.

 

 


3. VANILLA PB&B POPS

 

(Makes 4 servings, 1 pop each)
Total Time: 4 hrs. 5 min.
Prep Time: 5 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 scoops Vanilla Shakeology
  • 2 medium frozen bananas (cut into chunks before freezing)
  • 2 Tbsp. all-natural smooth peanut butter

Directions

  1. Place milk, Shakeology, bananas, and peanut butter in high-powered blender (such as a Vita-Mix); cover.
  2. Blend on low for 5 seconds; increase power to high and continue blending for 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into 4 ice pop molds
  4. Freeze for 4 hours before serving.

 


4. STRAWBERRY LEMONADE SHAKEOLOGY POPS

(Makes 4 servings, 1 pop each)
Total Time: 4 hrs. 10 min.
Prep Time: 10 min.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 tsp. raw honey
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1½ scoops Tropical Strawberry Shakeology (or Strawberry Shakeology)
  • ¼ cup reduced-fat (2%) plain Greek yogurt

Directions

  1. Place lemon juice, water, honey, strawberries, and Shakeology in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  2. Layer strawberry mixture and yogurt into ice pop molds; freeze for at least 4 hours, or until set.

5. MOCHA LATTE ICE POPS

(Makes 4 servings, 1 pop each)
Total Time: 4 hrs. 10 min.
Prep Time: 10 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 scoops Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1 Tbsp. cacao nibs

Directions

  1. Place almond milk, nibs, and Shakeology in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture evenly into four ice pop molds.
  3. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until set.

  1. Trying the chocolate one tonight! I’m sure it will be delicious but you should specify size/ounces of popsicle molds – the recipe for 4 only filled up 2 and a half of mine.
